Lugano is a town and a municipality in southern Switzerland in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino bordering Italy. The ninth largest Swiss town, it is the largest in Ticino and largest with an Italian speaking majority outside of Italy.

Both Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains provide a wide variety of outdoor activities. The area surrounding Lugano is home to over 300 kilometers of mountain biking trails, the largest network of trails in Switzerland.

Zermatt is famed as a mountaineering and ski resort of the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by 38 summits above 4,000m, the car-free town is full of life all year round.

It is a municipality in the district of Visp in the German-speaking section of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It has a population of about 5,800 inhabitants and is classified as a town by the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO).

The village was "discovered" by mid-nineteenth-century British mountaineers, most notably Edward Whymper, whose summit of the Matterhorn made the village famous.

Gstaad is a town in the German-speaking section of the Canton of Bern in southwestern Switzerland. It is part of the municipality of Saanen and is known as a major ski resort and a popular destination amongst high society and the international jet set.

In terms of size, Gstaad is just an average Swiss village, but its reputation as a fashion mecca for the jet-set is global. So why does the global elite love this place so much? There's skiing, of course. The village is in a valley at the heart of the Bernese Oberland, surrounded by smooth, sheer slopes.

Andermatt is a mountain village and municipality in the canton of Uri in Switzerland. At an altitude of 1437 meters above sea level, Andermatt is located at the center of the Saint-Gotthard Massif and the historical center cross of north-south and east-west traverses of Switzerland.

St. Moritz is a high Alpine resort town in the Engadine in Switzerland, at an elevation of about 1,800 meters above sea level.

St. Moritz has been a resort for winter sports vacations since the 19th century. It was the host city for the Winter Olympic Games in 1928 and 1948, one of three cities to host twice, along with Innsbruck, Austria and Lake Placid in the United States.

Bern, also spelled Berne, city, capital of Switzerland and of Bern canton, in the west-central part of the country. It lies along a narrow loop of the Aare River.
